Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026.

EVDrive is a small, independent publication about electric cars. This policy explains, in plain language, what information this site collects and what happens to it. If anything here is unclear, write to razaqali@gmail.com and ask.

What this site collects

• Contact form messages. If you write through the contact form, you give your name, your email address and the message itself. That is the only personal information this site asks for.
• Basic technical records. Like almost every website, the server keeps brief logs of visits — the page requested, the time, and a rough location derived from your connection. These logs are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse; they are not used to identify individual readers.
• Nothing else. There are no reader accounts, no comments, and no analytics service connected to this site that tracks you across the web.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies to work properly — for example, to cache pages so they load faster and to remember choices like dismissing a notice. It does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies from third parties.

What we do with your information

Information sent through the contact form is used only to reply to you. It is never sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing, and it is not used to build profiles of readers. The only exception is if we are legally required to disclose it, for example by a court order.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages arrive by email and are kept only as long as they are useful — normally until your question is answered and the conversation ends, after which they are deleted. Form entries are not stored in the site’s database.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing razaqali@gmail.com. We will deal with your request promptly.

Links to other sites

EVDrive links to other websites, such as manufacturers and charging networks, so you can check details for yourself. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page and the date at the top updated. Significant changes will be noted clearly.
